A-Passion is the most compact reference turntable system in the Acoustical Systems range. It brings the technology and distinctive sonic character of the APOLYT and A-Stellar into a smaller, more attainable form, creating a new balance of reference performance, practical size and value. Its platter uses the same design as A-Stellar with a slightly reduced height, supported by passive air-spring suspension and a non-contact, free-levitation double-action magnetic bearing. Two symmetrical interchangeable arm boards provide flexible tonearm installation, while black piano-gloss lacquer is the standard finish. Unlike the larger reference models, A-Passion needs no full-size external power supply: only a compact external transformer with its AC cord. One person can complete setup in under 30 minutes, and its compact shipping carton fits into a car boot.
