A headshell designed to draw out the music's reality and the artist's passion. Developed alongside the PP-5000 cartridge, the CS-1200 evolves the CS-1000 concept with approximately 10% lower mass while retaining rigidity. Its precisely machined duralumin body receives a DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) treatment to increase surface hardness and rigidity while providing excellent vibration damping.

Direct contact and rigid coupling

The shell body and connector terminals are secured with double bolts for accuracy and rigidity. Two upper and lower connector pins make direct contact with the tonearm connector, improving mechanical coupling.

Resonance control and signal integrity

A brass finger holder helps suppress unwanted resonance, while PC-TripleC lead wires carry the cartridge signal. The functional shape combines low mass, rigidity and resonance dispersion.
