The stainless-steel Component Stand SS supports stereo amplifiers, monoblocks and other high-mass components at floor level, making it possible to place amplifiers closer to the loudspeakers and use shorter speaker cables. Unlike a large solid plinth, its open strut structure presents very little surface area to become a resonant diaphragm and allows air to circulate freely around the component. The legs rotate around the central hub to suit different chassis dimensions, while the Stillpoints isolators can slide along each rail so their contact points can be tuned to the component's weight distribution and internal vibration sources.
