A passive moving-coil step-up transformer designed to raise low-output cartridge signals before they reach an MM phono input. NAT uses carefully selected magnetic cores and winding arrangements to preserve low-level information without adding an active gain stage.
The selectable loading and connection options allow the transformer to be matched to a range of moving-coil cartridges. Its screened metal enclosure, short internal signal path and high-quality connectors are intended to minimise noise at the most sensitive point in the analogue chain.
