The detail

Symmetric is a dual-mono balanced valve line stage developed around short signal paths and transformer coupling. Separate channel architecture, independent power-supply sections and zero global feedback are used to keep the two signal paths electrically and mechanically distinct.

The circuit is built around selected triodes and custom magnetic components, with balanced XLR and single-ended RCA connectivity for integration into a wide range of systems. A stepped level control and remote operation provide practical control without abandoning the preamplifier’s purist signal-path priorities.

Heavy aluminium construction, hand wiring and carefully selected passive parts support low noise, wide bandwidth and the current capability needed to drive long interconnects and demanding power-amplifier inputs.
