The current B Type 2.0 is Glanz Tech's standard-grade tonearm, updated in 2026 with a stainless-steel arm pipe and stainless-steel pivot components along the principal vibration-transmission path. Four large radial bearings support the pivot, while the rest, lifter and inside-force canceller use isolating polymer parts to reduce reflected distortion.

Its aluminium-and-polymer weight damper absorbs unwanted vibration across a broad frequency range. The arm pipe combines polyester fibre, carbon fibre and resin damping, copper internal wiring, a 5-pin DIN output and a removable plug-in headshell interface.

The Bs version includes the 12 g Glanz plug-in headshell, lead wires and mounting screws.
